Frazer UMC Announces New Senior Minister
Dr. Cindy Lorino, chair of the Frazer Memorial United Methodist Church Staff-Parish Relations Committee, announced in worship services this morning that Bishop Paul Leeland has appointed Dr. Timothy ("Tim") Thompson to be the new Senior Minister at Frazer.
According to Dr. Lorino, Dr. Thompson grew up in Montgomery where he attended First United Methodist. His first position in ministry was at Frazer and he was mentored by long-time Frazer minister Dr. John Ed Mathison.
Dr. Thompson currently serves as Senior Minister of First United Methodist, Opelika.
His appointment to Frazer will be effective March 1, 2010.
