Crave Student Ministries
Frazer’s student ministry is all about relationships—life-changing relationships in an accepting environment that will challenge and support students through the formative years from 6th-12th grade.
Four key relationships:
1. A personal relationship with God. Students are challenged to know God for themselves, whether they are just exploring faith or have grown up in the church. Our weekly programs are specifically designed to help student’s encounter God’s presence in ways that are relevant to their generation.
2. Supportive friendships. More than any other group students define themselves by their peers. We use social events and fun activities (co-ed as well as guys- and girls-only) to encourage students to develop friendships with one another to encourage each other in faith as well as to reach out to those who need God’s love.
3. Respect for parents. Although students are at an age where they are becoming more independent, family relationships are still the most important factor in their lives. Frazer’s student ministers view themselves as partners with parents in helping to mature your sons and daughters.
4. Meaningful service. We don’t accept the idea that students only want entertainment. We believe today’s student desire the sense of fulfillment and purpose that comes from serving a cause bigger than themselves. That’s why we take seriously creating volunteer opportunities in the church and around the world where students can get a taste of what it means to serve others.
